On your calculator in three steps
Our desktop app handles the install for you. Calculators on OS 5.5+ need a free one-time unlock first — the setup guide walks you through it.
Download the desktop app
Grab the free Deep Fried Labs installer for your computer. It bundles CalcLite and manages your apps.
Connect your calculator
Plug your TI-84 Plus CE into your computer with its USB charging cable. The app detects it automatically.
Install and go
One click sends the app to your calculator. Unplug, open the app on your TI-84, and start solving.
One price. No subscription. Ever.
CalcLite is free forever. SuperCalc+ is a single $20 purchase — cheaper than an hour of tutoring, and it lives in your backpack for the rest of your degree.

Questions, answered
Which calculators are supported?
Deep Fried Labs apps are built for the TI-84 Plus CE (including the Python edition). If you're not sure which model you have, check the label above the screen on the front of your calculator.
Is SuperCalc+ really a one-time purchase?
Yes. You pay $20 once and it's yours for life, including all future updates. No subscription, no renewal, no upsells.
What's the difference between CalcLite and SuperCalc+?
CalcLite handles core symbolic algebra: expanding, factoring, simplifying, and solving equations — free. SuperCalc+ adds a full Calculus 1–2 toolkit with step-by-step solutions: derivatives, integrals, limits, series, u-substitution, integration by parts, related rates, and trig identities.
Do I need to modify or jailbreak my calculator?
If your calculator runs OS 5.5 or newer (check with [2nd] → [+] → 1:About), yes — TI blocks the kind of programs our apps are, and you'll need to run a free community tool called arTIfiCE once before they can launch. It takes about two minutes, doesn't harm your calculator, and any memory reset returns it to 100% stock. On OS 5.4 or older, no unlock is needed. Our calculator setup guide covers the whole process step by step.
How do the step-by-step solutions work?
SuperCalc+ doesn't just print an answer. It shows the technique it chose (like u-substitution or integration by parts) and walks through each transformation, so you can follow the work and learn the method — right on the calculator screen.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once installed, everything runs entirely on your calculator. You only need a computer and internet for the initial install and for updates.
Can I use this on a test?
That depends on your school's and exam's calculator policy — many standardized tests restrict CAS functionality, and some instructors require a memory reset before exams. Always check your test rules first. Deep Fried Labs apps are built for studying and homework.
